Slaughter Pig Troughs

Polysan slaughter pig troughs in polymer concrete are available in several different variants.
The product range today consists of several different types, including both Polysan troughs and Polyflex troughs. Most Polysan troughs are standard at 1000 mm in length and feature an integrated joint groove. Troughs with joint grooves are joined together during mounting. The standard size for previous Polyflex troughs is 1200 mm in length and does not have joint grooves. Types without joint grooves are installed with a 2-3 mm gap before sealing.
Sealing is conveniently done using the Polysan Power grouting cartridge, a two-component adhesive.
Mounting can follow various principles, as illustrated in the Mounting Instructions overview for slaughter pig troughs. For some types, complete imbedding is required to prevent breakage. This applies, for example, to round-bottom troughs with small feet. Other types can be effectively adhesive directly to the concrete floor or onto concrete slats using Polysan Poly Floor or Polysan Power Floor.
